There are many options for photographers to display and sell  their images online. In my case,  I needed a multifunctional web presence that  would allow me to archive, sell and exhibit my work as well as deliver hi res images to clients instantly. Another requirement was a website that provides the latest marketing and SEO tools. Good customer service was also a must. After researching the various providers and what they offered, I chose PhotoShelter as it matched  my needs best.

Having  joined with PhotoShelter I would have to say it is simple and quick to set up with easy to customize  template themes.  For those who want to take it a step further, manual customization is available.

Crucial to any photographer is the back up of images. The PhotoShelter image archive is excellent. It has the benefit of supporting raw and psd files as well as jpeg and tiff. I no longer have the worry of losing valuable images.

Customer service to date has been first class. The PhotoShelter staff have been professional and helpful.

PhotoShelter in partnership with GraphPaperPress  allows integration of your  WordPress blog with PhotoShelter. As you can see by the image above , I am in currently in the process of integrating the On Assignment WordPress theme offered by GraphPaperPress with my PhotoShelter site. This Wolf’s  Monkey and her 4 week old baby were photographed at the Bronx Zoo located in one of the five boroughs of New York City, USA.   The Bronx Zoo has had many successful births with the Wolf’s monkey,  the latest of which is  Gigi born on Sepember 29th.  The monkeys can be viewed  at the Congo Gorilla Forest.To find out more you can visit their website http://www.bronxzoo.com/
